Shipping Eligibility — Where We Ship in Canada
We're Kootenay Vape Shops — a Canadian vape retailer with four brick-and-mortar stores in British Columbia. We ship online orders across Canada, but nicotine product shipping is limited by provincial excise regulations.
This page explains exactly where we can and can't ship, what the restrictions are, and what your options are if you're outside our current shipping zones.
Where We Ship Nicotine Products
We ship e-liquid, disposable vapes, nicotine pods, and all other nicotine-containing products to the following provinces:
British Columbia — Our home province. Four retail locations + fast shipping province-wide.
Saskatchewan — Full catalog available. Ships via Canada Post from BC.
Nova Scotia — Full catalog available. Ships via Canada Post from BC.
Newfoundland and Labrador — Full catalog available. Ships via Canada Post from BC.
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your address and order weight.
Where We Ship Non-Nicotine Products
Products that do NOT contain nicotine — including vape hardware, replacement coils, pods (empty), batteries, accessories, grinders, rolling trays, and smoking accessories — can be shipped anywhere in Canada.
There are no provincial restrictions on non-nicotine products.
If you're outside BC, SK, NS, or NL and looking for hardware, coils, or accessories, you can order from us and we'll ship to you.
Where We Cannot Ship Nicotine Products
We currently cannot ship nicotine-containing products (e-liquid, disposables, pre-filled pods) to:
Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, or Yukon.
This is not a choice — it's a regulatory limitation. Canadian excise stamp regulations require that nicotine products bear the correct provincial excise stamp for the destination province.
We currently hold valid stamps for BC, SK, NS, and NL only.

Why Are There Restrictions?
Canada regulates nicotine vaping products under federal excise duty rules. Each province participates in (or opts out of) excise stamp programs. Retailers must apply the correct provincial stamp to every nicotine product before it can legally be sold or shipped to that province.
We comply fully with Health Canada regulations and the Excise Act. We will only ship nicotine products to provinces where we hold valid excise authorization.
